We want to get to know you! Where you came from, where you've been and how you're living your dream?
I am a family first kind of girl—My husband and children are my priority. I am a native Charlottean, love teaching yoga and I’m a gut health fanatic. Laughing and lunch dates are my love language. I’m an optimist and happy is my set-point.
How do you define success?
I feel successful when my energy is vibrating high. When I feel free and light, I know I’m on the right track.
What did it take to make your dream happen and when did you know you had arrived?
It took a lot of courageous boldness, self-development and vision to get where I am in my business. And...have we ever really fully arrived? I’m a work in progress!
What are you most proud of? Go ahead, boast a little!
I’m so proud of myself for not quitting. I know that what I do is important, and I am helping people with their health and wealth every single day. It’s such a rewarding process.
What was your biggest obstacle/fear and what was your turning point?
My biggest obstacle was a time in my business when things weren’t going quite as planned. I wanted to quit. I wanted to crawl in a hole and not come out. There are ebbs and flows in this industry. Those valleys can be very discouraging. I know that I need to fully trust in God and HIS timeline...not my own. Once I wrapped my brain around this and became non attached with the outcomes, I found peace.
What’s the best advice you’d give to a younger you?
To not allow other people’s options bother me. Because their opinions don’t pay my bills!
How do you stay motivated and purposeful when you feel overwhelmed?
I know that this is the greatest industry in the world. I have VISION, BELIEF and a rock solid MINDSET. I stay motivated by revisiting my “why”. Knowing that I am cultivating financial and time freedom and leaving a legacy for my children.
Tell us a time when a perceived failure was actually a blessing in disguise or served you in a surprising way.
Oh goodness. Which failure? Failing is a must. And I’ve failed over and over again. About a year ago, I had a few business partners quit. This was absolutely devastating for me. I know I shouldn’t have, but I took it personally. I felt raw and betrayed. After a quick pity party, I dusted myself out and decided to take action. Maybe I wasn’t the leader I thought I was? Maybe I needed to learn more? Maybe I needed to develop myself more? Yes. Yes. And Yes. I read books on leadership, I poured into my team and enrolled in an intensive self-mastery course.
What is your favorite vice/guilty pleasure/strange habit? Come on now, we all have them!
I love to veg out and watch TV. Botched, Dr Pimple Popper, and any Lifetime movies!

When I bought into this business for $34.95
